Places
- Barcelona, the city and the region (e.g. Begur). I was lucky enough to live in Barcelona, near the Güell Park, for 18 months. I felt in love with this region; I can't say more.
- The "Musée des Antiquités nationales, in Saint-Germain-en-Laye". One of the world richest collections of prehistoric archaeology. It is an incredible travel bask in time: Objects from 300000 BC to 1000 AC... (see, e.g. this photograph of a prehistoric Horse head).
- The Storm King art center, located in the beautiful Hudson valley, north of New York. It is an outdoor museum devoted to contemporary sculpture. I have been there twice, in the spring and in the fall. This place resonated with me. You can see some pictures in 3D at www.3dexpo.com.
- The Staten Island Ferry, from Staten Island to Manhattan, at any hour...
- The island of Corsica: Bonifacio, but also, especially, the center of the island. Take the train from Ajaccio to Corte.
- The region of Sarlat, in the Perigord. Visit Lascaux, le gouffre de Padirac.
- Britanny, North (St Malo, Dinan, Cap Frehel) and South (Benodet), for sailing.
